I believe telnet is the only text access these days, they killed
dialup and sprintnet access a while ago.

Delphi is on a VAX, not unix, but they do have a Lynx browser
and a usenet newsgroup reader.

If you have a IIGS and Spectrum 2.2 and marinetti 2.x you can
access delphi from Earthlink using a PPP connection and
Spectrum's VT100 emulation to telnet. Unfortunately, Proterm
won't work because marinetti requires System 6.0.1 and GS/OS.

If you (or anyone) needs detailed instructions on how to do
this I can write up an article and post it here. Earthlink works
for sure but I'm pretty sure the instructions would work for
most ISP's with a PPP connection.
