I think he is looking for 16-bit native IIGS software rather than
8-bit Apple II software running on the IIGS under IIe emulation
mode.  Applesoft runs in IIe emulation mode.

One program that comes to mind of relatively recently
released IIGS software is Wolfenstein 3D for the Apple IIGS.
Also LemminGS (IIGS version of Lemmings).  Also the
GSoft BASIC language (which is basically a IIGS native
version of Applesoft able to tap into IIGS memory, graphics,
and sound).
