patched frilless FredWriter?

ok, I know one I can ask to try to do this, but maybe someone will know
how easy if might be, and at any rate I mentioned a wish-list item in my 
last post.

simple is best, so we use frilless FredWriter & won't be changing that.

One annoyance in the program:  Save is CONTROL-S, which is fine.

But

If students use Apple-S by mistake - a common error - it puts a return at
end of line for old telecom needs (Fredmail!!)

So wished for item is a version where that control-s is disabled.

easily done?
