     Don't know. The RamFAST manual does not seem to mention parity.

     If you do not plan to reformat the drive, my inclination would be to
leave the setting alone and try out the drive.

     If you intend to format the drive and start fresh, having it disabled
would be my guess for the way to go.

     Whatever, do some tests with large file reads and writes, experiment
with creating GS-ShrinkIt archives on the disk (and extracting them), etc..
