Pretty sure you can do this without having an external Apple II drive
attached. First, use the Trackstar transfer utility to move a .dsk file to a
Trackstar virtual hard disk. Then (I think), you can use DSK2FILE (run from
the virtual hard disk or a virtual diskette*) to transfer the .dsk to a
virtual diskette.

You can find quite a bit of Trackstar info on USA2WUG at
http://www.grin.net/~cturley/USA2WUG/TrackStar/ . This folder includes the
main Trackstar E software in a .zip file.

There are two Trackstore disks (.aap files)-- one which boots DOS 3.3
and one which boots ProDOS-- with several utilities at
http://www.grin.net/~cturley/USA2WUG/TrackStar/TrackstoreImages/ . I'm pretty
sure DSK2FILE is one of the utilities included on the disks.

You could make multiple copies of the above .aap files, each with a
different name, to serve as 'blank disks'. As mentioned in the
MoreTrackStarInfo.txt file, it's a good idea to keep all of your Trackstar
driver, com, .aap, etc. files in a single folder.
