Well I can see a bit of a problem... First off you posted your message
in the wrong group. This group is for the Apple// computer not the Mac.
You want something in the comp.sys.mac hierarchy. Next you should know
the architecture of the machine before you get it (unless it is a gift).
To answer your question... There are indeed printers for the Mac II
computer. You want to pick up a printer with a serial connection. Any
should do. I do not think there are parallel ports for the Mac. I could
be wrong but this is why you should consult the Mac groups.
The second part of the question is easy to answer. Yes appropriate
printers are still being made. HP makes a great product IMHO. The
problem is finding drivers for the printer.
