My understanding is that you can't, that the disk speed
on a 3.5" Apple drive spins at different rates depending
on what part of the disk is being read, vs the more
constant velocity of the 5.25" drives.  That's why
you don't (usually) find a speed adjustment on the 3.5's
while you do on most of the 5.25's.  (I'm going by memory
here, so hopefully someone with a better hardware
background than me can either correct this or fill in the
gaps.  :))
