I think I'd be #2 and #4 in the original sense of the term "Hacker".
The closest thing I ever came to a user was to dial into Purdue's dual
VAX 11/780 (a whopping 300 baud) to download my programming projects I
completed with Turbo Pascal or the CP/M assembler (for the 8080
microprocessor lab).
