I had a 1.5 mb AE card in my Rom 3 which had a conflict with
the rom version. The card showed up in 'About This GS' as being
a 2mb card. The system experienced lots of intermittent problems
while this card was installed. I managed to work around it by
allocating the phantom ram as a ram disk, which the system would
want to eject immediately. Choosing to eject got the ram disk
off the desktop, and made the unusable ram go away.
I now have a 4mb card in my Rom 3 which is compatable, and have
put the 1.5mb AE card in a Rom 01. It works fine in that system.
