Just make sure your dagger is between them and you, and it won't work on 
those guards seated behind those desks.

Incidentally, never got much use out of that dagger--my victims made an 
even greater noise, thus alerting everyone else, than if I shot them with my 
gun.

Perhaps I was playing the game wrong. But the dagger was as useless for 
me as bribing the guards or disarming the alarm with the toolbox.

Oh well.
