wacky keyboard

Having recently acquired an apple IIe I'm working my way through the box
of disks and cards that came with it, my progress is somewhat hampered
by the fact that which ever disk I boot off the keyboard seems to be
mapped wrong.

Also I'm fairly sure I don't have some of the really necessary disks, is
there a good online (or otherwise) resource for info, downloads etc on
the Apple II?

If anyone can shed any light on these matters I would appreciate a lot.
