I believe what Pim is getting at is the fact that CDAs can only use
the active operating system at the time they are activated.  If you
are in a ProDOS 8 application and go to the text Control Panel and
open File-O-Trix, then it can only do ProDOS 8 operating system calls.

This means that when in ProDOS 8, File-O-Trix does not have access to
GS/OS or FSTs.  Unless File-O-Trix has the code to interpret HFS
volumes like the GS/OS FSTs do, then you can't do anything with an HFS
volume from the CDA.
