I have no idea.  If I could design hardware, I'd make one, but I know
nothing about how it works.  As I mentioned before, the RamKeeper
was not a real ROM card but rather RAM pretending to be ROM.
However, if you really wanted something like this, just start looking
for a RamKeeper.  The battery and power supply might take a little
getting used to, but the end result is the same as designing an
EPROM based card (except for the power requirement).

Yes.  Both RAM and ROM are addressed throught the memory
expansion slot.  If you were designing a card from scratch, you'd
need to plug the ROM module into the RAM card.  The way the
RamKeeper did it was to have two slots ON itself to hold two
memory cards.
