Finding a replacement TWGS cable could be difficult. (As I recall, it is
not just a couple 40-pin headers crimped onto a ribbon cable. One end has
each pair of lines flipped around-- right?)

You could make a new cable using your current cable as a guide. You can
get 40-line ribbon cable and good quality gold-plated crimp-on 40-pin headers
from places like Digi-Key.

An easier fix may be to get one good 40-pin header. Solder the pins of
the damaged header to the top of the new header; and, for the broken pin, use
a snip of wire to connect from the broken pin stub to the new header. (Use a
pointy soldering pencil and good quality solder.)

When you're done, you could fill the space between the new header and
the one soldered to it with epoxy to add strength.
