Stand alone box would be a Kinetics or Shiva FastPath IV or V, bridges a
whole network of localtalk nodes to ethernet, AND does the encapsulation
thing to pass TCP/IP packets over LocalTalk.
Run the free, but unsupported localtalkbridge software from Apple on a
spare mac. It doesn't do the TCP/IP thing, but appletalk and appleshare
work fine.
If you want one, email me about the Shiva boxes, or most anything
apple/mac networking wise.
