I'd have to assume that you only have an Apple //e then?  If so, that
would be your only option.

I stopped using it once I got a GS.  You can do 8 bit assembly using
ORCA/M for the GS.  The documentation is adequate for describing how to
use the assembler, but will tell you nothing about how to PROGRAM
assembly.  You'll need another source for that.

It has been so long ago since I used it that I've forgotten a great deal
of the details, but I do know that I like the GS version better.
