Apple IIgs <--> PC question

Hello, I recently aquired an Apple IIgs from an elementary school, and all
they gave me was a ProDos boot disk with system utilities and the like, and
the GSOS disk that boots into GSOS. It has no expansion cards. I built the
adapter to xfer from the PC parallel port to the Apple's game port, and it
runs fine, and even runs the drive, but it does not xfer the image to the
diskette. This is probably because I do not have a Dos 3.3 bootdisk.
Anyways, I purchaced a din8 -> DB25 serial cable, am running it through a
db25->db9 port adapter, then a gender changer, and then a NULL modem
adapter, but because I have no telecom software on the apple's end, am
unable to send. I was wondering if there was any program that I could maybe
key in as hex that would allow me to xfer a telecom app through the IIgs's
standard serial port to a diskette on the fly, or be able to copy it to the
diskette and then xfer an extraction util or the like. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

PS: anyone know the UART addresses for the IIgs's serial ports?
