Manipulating CP/M disk images

All this talk about CP/M has made me remember that a while back
I had written some disk image conversion programs which, in
conjunction with Michael Haardt's cpmtools, would allow
you to create Apple II CP/M disk images, and add or remove
individual files from them. Basically, these utilities convert
the Apple II cp/m images to a "standard" cp/m image that
cpmtools can understand.

What this means is that the plethora of CP/M software available
on the net is also available for a Apple II CP/M. For instance,
I've been able to get the mupad maths package (available as
individual files for generic CP/M systems) running on an Apple II
with a softcard.

Both these utilities and cpmtools are written in C and run on linux or
some sort of unix variant. I suspect, though, that it wouldn't take too
much trouble for someone to make them run on windows. There really isn't
much to them, but it may save people the trouble of wading through
the various disk image formats.

If there's any interest in building up some sort of library of
Apple II cp/m images with these tools, drop me a message.
