Would you mind telling me what exactly do you need to run a II net? I want to
hook my IIgs to a PowerMac 8100/100 using Appletalk. My current OS is 8.0.
Could you please list the software and version numbers you are running and what
drivers/utilities needed to hook a II to a Mac?
I was able to share the PM8100 the other day with a LC (OS 6.0)computer without
much difficulty. Although I did loose Novell ethernet connectivity on the
PM8100, I could still browse the web and most importantly I could move files
back n forth between the Macs. Now I want to put my IIgs onto the PM8100.
Master, slave, peer, whatever it takes to move data across.
I looked around at the Apple II sites and FAQs and did not find anything
relevant. I'll probably start surfing Mac sites if I become desperate. BTW, I
have no documentation for anything, it was all aquired used.
Of course anyone who has experience doing this, I would be greatful for the
assist.
Thankx,
Ed
