I'll have to agree that there are times when Pim can be a bit on the harsh
side (sometimes quite a bit) but the irritation seems pretty valid in this
instance.
I do understand that there are people who are unfamiliar with a particular
computer system (I'm learning (and re-learning) myself on the IIgs) it would
make much more sense to state the exact message on the "error type screen"
rather than to just say that it was an "error type screen".
If you don't find this particular type of question then it is obvious that you
have never worked in a technical support or system administrator type of
position dealing with people who ask this type of question on a daily basis
saying "My computer has an error" and when you ask them what error it is, they
say "Well, I don't know, I shut my computer off and rebooted a couple of hours
ago but just got around to calling you now..." It is VERY frustrating. The
reason that I quit working as a network admin and changed professions
completely...
