     AppleWin is a good enhanced //e emulator. You can download AppleWin from
Asimov ( ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/ ).

     There are a couple IIgs emulators that will run on a PC. (However, these will
not let you read standard Apple II 3.5" diskettes on your PC.)  For links to

     Using disk images (virtual disks), you can access quite a lot of Apple II
software via an emulator running on such a PC.

     Except that your //c will still be useful for running Apple II software in
2010. UNIX may be long-gone. (In which case you can be sentimental about good old
UNIX!)
