Here is a strange dual 5 ¼ “ floppy disk drive in very good condition. I have no clue whether it would work or not or what it is exactly so it is
being sold as is. There is a 5 1/4 “ floppy disk in each drive that has
DOS 3.3 written on them and they look to be in good shape.
There is no distinctive marking on the PC bds or drives that identifies them
but the motors have “DC Copal Motor LC 1778, Tokyo, Japan on them and
the steel case has a warning to connect this cable only to an Apple III on a
sticker on the back but the connector is a 20 pin and I don’t think an
Apple III has that type of connection. It was probably made to connect to a
Disk II controller for an Apple II.

I'd take the warning to heart--it's a dual external drive for an
Apple ///.

The only thing Apple ///-specific about it is its assumption about
the multiple drive select pins in the cable. Wiring up a "funny"
cable to bring in the drive 2 select into a cable otherwise connected
to the "Drive 1" connector of a Disk ][ Controller will make it fully
functional on an Apple II.
