Are you sure you are booting from the Install floppy?  It sounds
like you are booting from the "System Disk" floppy.  The Install
floppy has the SCSI hard disk driver and should not give this
error.  If you have an SCSI CD-ROM, scanner, or laser printer
on the SCSI chain, remove them before running the Install
floppy.
