Re: question on Standards for files

Supertimer wrote in response to my post:
"The PC can read and write HFS and ProDOS Zip disks and hard drive
partitions for the IIGS just fine and the KEGS and Sweet16 IIGS
emulators support these media storage devices fine, both ProDOS
and HFS.

Zip disks and hard disks are not really that rare. All is needed is
SCSI for the IIGS, which is not too hard to come by."

And I reply: This is true and I'm sure meets the needs of those using such
methods, of that I'm fully aware. Still the SCSI for the IIgs is not all
that plentiful. There are only so many of them that were made (all types).
And, with the DEATH of the RamFAST card, they will only become more rare and
more expensive - as people seek them in the future.

Solution -> somebody needs to make a new SCSI card for retail sales for the
IIgs. TonyD, and others so skilled to do so....is anybody listening?

Cheers,
Tom
