Re: Stereo board question (SoundMeister in this case)
So are you saying that you've got a SoundMesiter and are having the
"problem" that I describe?
Sometimes, in "Tunnels of Armageddon" in particular, for example,
regardless of what I've got the control panel sound set at, the IIgs'
internal speaker hikes way on up loud and almost drown out the stereo
speakers tied to the SoundMeister. I guess having something in the mono
headphone jack would silence that internal speaker, if the built in
jack's output was not "switched on". I just don't recall this many
issues with the SuperSonic from MDIdeas. Though the audio FAQ for IIgs
indicated that the SoundMeister sounds better than the MDIdeas board. Interesting.
