If the Apple HS SCSI card works fine in your GS but not
in a //e, you might want to check and make sure that
the //e has been enhanced.  According to the manual for
the card, it won't work on unenhanced //e's.  I'm not
sure if the 3rd-party enhancement kits that were once
sold would be compatible with whatever Apple was putting
into their replacement ROMS, BTW.  I've helped several
users set up the HS SCSI card in //e's (including making
the term power mod) and they all work fine--one of them
uses a ZipDisk as the main and only Hard Drive for the
//e, too.  A bit slower, but workable.
