I dont think its published anymore. I could be wrong.
Any copies sold is probably used, which is a violation of licence agreement.
Any other copies are probably boot leged.
Does Apple care about old Appleworks 2 or 3. Probably not.
Many large companies offer old programs as freeware (ex/ Borland)
They're probably happy the Apple users are so loyal.
Where can you get it ? not sure. U can probably get a used one from schools
for free. Lots of schools are discarding all Apple II hardware and software,
even Apple IIGSs, my undergraduate univerisites and local business discard
Apples, Macs and IBMs.

Just walk through a research center at a university or business section.
When I was a undergrad I could easily pass by several discarded computers in
a single hallway.

As not to offend any retailers that visit this site, u can probably purchase
Appleworks from someone that has posted here. This way someone can actually
make a buck out of their old stuff.
