I am NOT attemptin to start a rucus and I DO know how to make cables; I have
both full and 1/2 handshake available, not to mention making more bizzare
things like X1541 cables to read from an "other" format to PC.
What I am saying is if you do not have a SCSI connection, and are not of the
Mac world, there are limitations to the current aproach that somewhat limits
the A2 world to those who bought in on the Mac. I did not. I went back to
main-frame for many years and only got back into PCs about 6 or 7 years ago
Since my earlier Epistle I have purchased a IIsi ($10 at Goodwill ;) and
thanks to John Townsend (Thanks John!!) I have some workstation cards for
Appletalk so basiclly my problem is solved (I also have a SCSI connection on a
PC running
Transmac so Mac friendly transfer is now possible all the way)
But...a more PC friendly aproach might swell the ranks a wee bit. Just some
food fer thought guys...
