John probably has a SuperDrive or BlueDisk.  I have one and I can
easily read KEGS formatted 1.44MB ProDOS or HFS disks.  So
he is correct in that ProDOS and HFS disks cn be accessed on
both systems.  It is just that you need somewhat non-standard
hardware on the IIGS side.

Another set of hardware that qualifies: an SCSI card and a Zip drive.
