The sounds are stored as plain wav files on the PC.  I'm sure it is
similar on the Mac.  I just replace the terrible sounding voice in
these files with sounds I want to use.

For instance, "Goodbye" could be replaced with "When can I call
in with my IIGS."  ;-)
