Re: Mastery Development software broken by Y2K?

The cpu that was in use on the second system was ROM 01 IIGS with a full
Apple 1 meg card for 1.2 meg total memory. We've now tried three
keyboards, three mice, and two sets of cables...and can't get a mouse to
work. The mice work fine on other computers (macs). Nobody remembers
this computer having ever been used with a mouse (prior to its use as a
file server, it was used as a 512K fast IIE transfering AppleWorks files
on 5.25 disks from IIE workstations to 3.5 inch disks which were then
read into a mac IICi and printed out to a laser printer). I installed
the donated 1 meg Apple memory card to upgrade the cpu to 1.2 meg when
we set up the lab several years ago.

There were some other IIGS cpu recently surplused out at another school
locally that we'll look at to see if we can't find a ROM 3 IIGS cpu to
use as a replacement.

We've not been able to find out where the software stores dates. We
tried deleting all files that had modification dates after Dec 1,
1999...with no success.

We may have to live without the backups.

Thanks for all help/ideas.
