Apple II and Y2K - how did it go?

Because of the large volume of e-mail concerning Y2K and the Apple II, we are
starting up the Apple II Mail Group again for a limited time. If you would like
to receive e-mail messages about Apple II subjects, please respond by either

(a) replying to this posting by E-Mail (not in public) with the word "join"
and signing your REAL name (no exceptions), or

(b) going to my web site and filling out the form to join the mail group. That
web site is at

http://members.aol.com/A2MG

We have info and follow-up on Glen Bredon's patch to Prodos, with explanations,
input, and opinions from experts, including Glen himself. We also have e-mail
from users (I'll remove the names) who asked about Y2K problems in the past 2-3
days. Please respond in the next 24 hours; it is now 1/02/00 at 9:30 pm, and do
not ask to receive past messages after that.

There are no qualifications to join the mail group, and it costs nothing other
than your usual online service's fee (if any). Please plan to ask a question or
two, or be an expert if you possibly can.

Thank you, and Happy New Year.
