Yes you can, but you need to have the Clone utility program
for the IIGS.  Clone is basically a clone of DiskCopy for the
IIGS.  You'd then need to download the Mac system
software (I think Apple provides old MacOS versions in
DiskCopy form on their web site) to the IIGS.  For example,
if you have a shell account on the IIGS, you can download
the DiskCopy MacOS disks from Apple to your shell account
and zmodem them to your IIGS.  Once on the IIGS, you can
use Clone to extract them to HFS disks.  This will only
work if the DiskCopy disks are 800k in size since the IIGS
normal drives support only 800k disks.  I think old MacOS
like System 6 are on 800k disks.  Newer ones are on
1.44MB ones and can't be extracted on the IIGS unless
you have a SuperDrive, BlueDisk, or Floptical system.
