THanks. I added one thing to this:  I have a Inoventions RamCheck checker I 
got free froma  computer store that was going under (who would need a single 
chip checker in these days of SIMMs/DIMMs?)  before populating the board and 
It WORKS!  Thanks!
By the way....has anyone yet met the guy who put a Laser 128 back together and 
got every....single....screw  back in?
