Not normally.  I seem to recall hearing that someone had written a
driver that let you use a SuperDrive card (I think) in an Apple ///.

Not very well.  The Apple /// needs a digital RGB monitor, so you would
be best off with a CGA monitor (with an appropriate adaptor cable) or a
digital RGB monitor that was previously used on an Apple II.

The IIgs monitor happens to use the same signal lines for the video
inputs, but you end up with the wrong colours.
