Up to the Rom 4 the Zram worked great. I've heard of people who used it
with the Rom4 without the slinky, but I've never verified that.

You would be surprised how simple it is to install, assuming you have all
the original parts. Besides the board, you need the adapter pegs to support
the board and the keyboard. You might be able to make your own from
small wooden dowel rods. Just be careful, without the correct support, you
can damage the keyboard. Too much spacer and you strain either the card
or the keyboard. When I purchased mine, it came with several different
sized sets to allow for differences in keyboards.

One other note, not all early //c computers could handle this card, some
came with the MMU soldered to the motherboard and others came with
spacers between the CPU/motherboard and the MMU/motherboard. Just
something to check before you buy one.

As noted before, the case is easy to open, just watch those little tabs
on the back panel.

I still use the driver from Applied. The SYS file driver works fine if loaded
right
after Prodos. Once loaded it will then execute the next SYS file. Sort of a link
in the Prodos chain.
