Indeed, your Windows program will run without flaw.

Virtual PC is a low level emulator meaning that it actually
pretends to be a Pentium MMX computer. You can install
any PC operating system and program on top of it, be it
DOS, Linux, OS/2, or Windows. This is useful if you need
to run many older games that require DOS and won't work
under Windows 95 or 98, even in the Windows "DOS
mode" boot. And if you have a copy of Windows 95 or
98 available, you can install it under Virtual PC and gain
all the benefits of the SoftWindows product too.

SoftWindows 95 and SoftWindows 98 advantage is that
you do not need to buy and install Windows separately.
If you will only run Windows apps, this might be a better
deal than Virtual PC. However, my impression is that
many of the PC stuff out there worth running are the games.
For example, there are many many more flight simms
out there for the PC than for the Mac. Virtual PC will
let you run all of them, even the ones that require a DOS
boot.
