To the file system (ProDOS or HFS) Mac and IIGS resource
forks are stored the same way. A Mac resource fork will
appear to GS/OS as a resource fork, same as a resource
fork created by GS/OS itself. What's IN the resource forks
are a little different in most cases. The exception is the
TrueType resource font. The IIGS NDA called Pointless
uses the Mac style TrueType resource font.
However, even if what's IN the resource fork differs between
a IIGS and a Mac, the fact that they are STORED the same
way is all that matters. It means that if you were going to
extract a file with ShrinkIt! GS, ShrinkIt! GS won't give a
sh*t if the file passed through a Mac and got a resource
fork tacked on.
