Re: Hard drive spinup



Try the following:

Give the edge of the drive a hard rap on a table.  This should break the spindle
loose, if it's  stiction problem.

Or, wrap the drive in an airtight plastic bag, and put it in the freezer.  After
about an hour take it out and try again.

Either way, get a new hard drive.
