//e won't kick color-on on composite monitor

Howdy Folks,

Got a sticky problem with my //e. It seems the color output from the
composite port
doesn't provide enough color burst to kick my composite color monitor
(//e model)
into color mode.

At first I thought it may be the monitor, but when I tried the output on
the Ext 80 col card
+ video, color kicks in no worries.

I could, I guess, just use the output provided by the 80-col card, but
if I do that, I lose
my RamWorks III, which is really not an option.

I've already made sure the color killer switch is set right (the machine
can do color ok when
connected to TV, but the video quality is shot).

Can anyone point me in the right direction in regards to possible dud
components in the video
output circuitry? The display goes all 'fuzzy' if that helps any..

Of course, we're talking European/Australian //e equipment here if that
makes any difference..

Cheers,

Matt (Wondering what his chances are of hunting down a RGB daughtercard
for the ramworks)

PS - Can anyone possibly supply me with disk images of the software
supplied with the RamWorks III board ? I've got the diagnostic and aw
expanders, but not the ramdisk software for prodos/dos/pascal.

Thanks

Matt
