quest for a GS

I have been on an Apple quest. Years ago I was an Apple II person. I and
friends had a bizz based on one in the early 80s. We supported outselves for
years doin programming and work with this box. We had a killer app we tried
to sell and flopped (others came out with the same app on the PC platform and
made their millions, ah well..)
So I left the Apple fold and went whoring after mainframes and PCs for years.
Then a fellow gave me a Franklin. Oh yeah... scratch head.... as I
recall....CALL -151 and 3d0G.... or was it....
and I again had the bug... Well I went lookin. I found some Lasers, I found
a IIc, I found a //e that when u hit break goes white then black with the word
RAM in the upper corner. I found 3 old Macs (a Classic, +, and SE) but no GS.
Well I was at the Goodwill today trying to dump some old EGA and VGA monitors
and a HUGE daisywheel printer (they wouldn't take them) and thought why not
see where my fav electronics store (NORVAC for those in the Pacific NW; GREAT
electroncis and surplus place; they have several branch stores) dumps
theirsand when there. I talked to my fav teller and he said "We'll take them
pull around back". Up goes the loading dock door, in I walk with a monitor and
there......there on a table.... the most beautifyl GS....The surplus guy
won't be back till Monday so I wait till then....
I am now a total Apple junkie.... is there a 12 step program? ;-)
