A number of Apple 3.5" drives I've acquired had a cap over the daisy-chain port
but the port was under all of them and they all worked.  The Mac version, that is
the 800k drive without an eject button doesn'ty have a daisy-chain port at all. no
cover, no hole in the case there. However the IIgs drives will work as a Mac
external but not the other way around.
