Yes, the A9M0106, A2M4050 and A2M2053 will be tested.

The choice of the USB result from many considerations.
Mainly usb allow for much more than mass storage (let me fly in my dreams), is very convenient like you said, and looking for existing hardware, I found usb slightly cheaper than other solutions.
Nevertheless, a sd/microsd slot could be added to the main board.

One of my dream for this project is also to allow the //c to use the A9M0106, but this is another story. Somebody would need it ?
