Use the INSTALL disk to set up a local network startup disk. Use that disk to
boot the GS. With System 7.x.x on a Mac, turn on file sharing either to the
whole Mac hard drive or set up a separate folder for the GS to use. The local
startup disk in the GS will not have the FINDER on it but rather just a
program launcher. If you copy the Finder file to the Mac you can then use
the launcher to run the Finder and then use the Finder to run other programs
When you quit most programs you will be returned to the GS Finder. Not as fast
as a hard drive on the GS but it will give a good feel for what a hard drive
would be like installed on the GS.
