It was the next logical step. I've told this little story before, but I'll
tell it again:

I've inherited the Apple II and Macintosh collections of about 3 or 4
different people.

I have tons of Apple II and IIe documentation, and I have very very little
IIc and IIgs documentation, but quite a bit of early Macintosh
documentation.

It's easy to see why. When the Macintosh was released in 1984, all of these
people switched over to it. It may not have been the superior system at the
time, but when the 512K and Mac Plus were released by 1986, there was no
going back to the II.
