I belive it would be reasonable to start updating AppleWorks, any version, to
AppleWorks 5.1 for those who own original disks. I have been thinking about
doing this for some time. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts about this.
I don't know how the programmers feel, but I would guess that they would be
happy for people to have use of their fine work instead of staying in the
limits of AppleWorks 3.0 or other version. One could argue that since all
versions older than 4.0 are not Y2K compliant, they had to be updated.
Anyway, I am thinking about it. It's not really my job, and is more work than I
want to do. But at least people would get the correct disk configuration if
they got it from me.
