To give you the answer you deserve I'd have to visit the library. Even my
magazine archives don't go back that far. :) But based on wetware memory,
the Pet was out and being sold before the Apple ][.

The next time I'm at the university library I'll dig through the stacks and
see if I can find the dates, though.
