I wrote a patching program for AppleWorks 4.0 to 4.3, but it is not currently
available because I expect users to be using AppleWorks 5.1. You'll find my
AppleWorks 4.3 patcher on TEXAS II on Disk vol.13. It is but a mere shadow of
what the robust AppleWorks 5.1 patcher has become.

My patcher does not contain the DB Pix Patch, but I could put it in there. I'm
a little reluctant to use John Link's work because when he released that AW4.0
patching program ("gift?"), he limited distribution to a very few areas, and
wouldn't allow it on services like Genie, where everyone was (including the
entire AW 4 development and test team). However, I suppose that is all moot
now. If you'd send me a copy of Link's AW 4.0 patcher, I'll look at it with AW
4.3 in mind.

By the way, the DB Pix feature is built in to AppleWorks 5.1.
