RAM for Apple //c

I just bought an Apple //c. I like it, but it has a defekt. It doesn't
boot and one letter on the screen is inverse and not quite ok (It is
exactly the 'e' in 'Check your ...'). I think it is a RAM error.

I opened it and found out it has RAMs of type 4264. Now I found some
old 4164-B on an old 286-Board. Can I use them too?

And... can somebody tell me how to find out which RAM block is defect?
