True, if you miss Delphi A2 forum, you miss a lot! One reason I visit
only rarely is I go via the web access, & it is slow & pretty crummy as
well. Nothing beats a good news reader. Well, unless I was savvy enough to
go via Spectrum, COG & all that. Buut I am not & here is a partial reason
-- cable modem means I have no dial-up. Now another "Delphite" told me
that doesn't stop him -- so there is an idea for an article, Max. {ok,
limited mass appeal, but it appeals to me!} How does he do it? He is a
contributor, so you can ask him.
The other thing I just realized . Even though I *don't* visit Delphi much,
I have a great way to keep up on everything that is happening. I just
subscribe to JuicedGS! :-)

csa2 is kinda like a city street, or a public school. Everybody gets in,
including the bullies and the creeps. Things get messy, low-lifes and
geniuses come and go ---- as do the many moments of both cruelty and
kindness. You can't really blame people who don't want to be a part of it
-- heck, people also chose to send their kids to private school, or prefer
to live in a gated community. The school, streets, community, are less
vibrant as a result, less enriched. But one can't blame people for their
choices -- heck, there are times when I wish I were back teaching in a
private school rather than where I am now!
ok, off my soapbox. I'm just glad to get a chance to chat w/ you here
Max. After all, I really know that your presence in the A2 community has
enriched many of us. As does that of many of the good people on Delphi --
and the many folks on this forum too!
best regards,
-Louis
